MedStar wants to help make some special memories for Fort Worth kids this Halloween.
The emergency medical services agency is looking for a couple children who need medical support to be able to trick-or-treat.
This is the fifth year MedStar has offered the service, in which a child and his or her family is transported by ambulance to a specially selected neighborhood, and the child is escorted on a stretcher for trick-or-treating.
A MedStar paramedic, EMT and MedStar's Safety Clown will go door-to-door with the family from 6 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 31.
Eligible children must be between five and 15 years old, and be living within the MedStar service area or be at a medical facility in the area.
To nominate a child, contact Matt Zavadsky at MZavadsky@medstar911.org or by phone at 817-991-4487. The nomination deadline is Friday, Oct. 20.
