Mary Kay Inc. to Build $100M Facility in Lewisville

North Texas-based cosmetics giant Mary Kay plans to build a new $100 million facility in Lewisville.

The company announced Tuesday the new building would contain its global manufacturing and research and development operations.

"Our analysis identified the site in Lewisville as the optimal location for our new facility that will enable us to continue to provide the highest quality skin care and color cosmetics for our more than 3.5 million independent sales force members worldwide," David Holl, president and CEO for Mary Kay Inc., said in a statement released Tuesday.

The project will break ground in July 2016, and it's scheduled to be finished in 2018.
