Mark Cuban Challenges Donald Trump to Defend Policies in Interview

Billionaire promises $10 million charitable donation if Republican candidate agrees

Billionaire Dallas businessman Mark Cuban has issued a challenge to Republican nominee for president Donald Trump, promising $10 million to a charity of the candidate's choice in exchange for a four-hour sit-down interview on his policies.

Cuban, who endorsed Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton in July, issued the challenge via Twitter just after 11 a.m. Friday. Hours before, in a phone interview on FOX Business, Trump ripped Cuban saying he wasn't smart enough to understand what his campaign was doing after Cuban said on the same program that the market will tank if Trump wins the presidency.

"Well, I know Mark, and you know the problem with Mark is, he's not smart enough to understand what we're doing," Trump told FOX Business' Maria Bartiromo. "He's really not smart enough."

Cuban followed with two tweets directed at Trump saying his plan was gibberish and that he must have flunked economics at Fordham after not getting into Penn.

Following those tweets were Cuban's challenge, where he promised he'd make the donation to any charity of Trump's choosing if the candidate talked with him for four hours about his polices -- without bashing Clinton and without the use of support staff to feed him information.
