Missing Man's Body Found in Lewisville Creek Bed Near I-35E

Cause of death to be confirmed by Tarrant County ME

The body of man found in a dry Lewisville creek Tuesday morning has been identified as missing man Lonny Lee.[[325703941,R]]

Lee, 58, was reported missing Monday after his roommate said he walked to the pharmacy to pick up a prescription and never returned. Lee's car was found with his cane and a box of medication inside.

A man walking through a small park near the 900 block of Grandys Lane and Interstate 35E Tuesday morning spotted Lee's body in a dry creek bed at about 8:45 a.m., according to Capt. Dan Rochelle with the Lewisville Police Department.

Rochelle said there were no obvious signs of trauma or foul play and that police believe Lee's death was accidental.

The Tarrant County medical examiner will confirm Lee's exact cause of death.

No further information has been released.
