Duncanville police said a man tried to kidnap a 15-year-old girl near Lakeside Park Monday night. [[340049862,C]]
The girl was walking home from school in the 300 block of Park Lane at about 6:10 p.m., when a man drove up and told her to get in his car, according to police. When she refused, the man then exited the car and grabbed the girl by the arm.
Police said the girl screamed and kicked the man until she broke free. The man drove away on southbound Park Lane.
The victim described the man as Hispanic, about 40 years old, 5 feet 6 inches tall and 190 pounds with a mustache. Police said the man was driving a dark 4-door vehicle.
