A 43-year-old man is set to be executed Wednesday for killing two Balch Springs sandwich shop employees in 2002.
Terry Edwards was convicted of killing 34-year-old Tommy Walker and 26-year-old Mickell Goodwin during a robbery of a Subway restaurant July 8, 2002.
Evidence showed that Edwards was fired from the store a few weeks before.
Edwards appealed his conviction and claimed the Dallas County judge gave improper instruction to jurors during selection for his trial. The U.S. Supreme court refused his appeal last November.
