A man suspected of being involved in two separate armed robberies in Watauga and Haltom City has been taken into custody.
Watauga police were called to a report of Armed Robbery Wednesday morning when two female juveniles said they were approached by a man while walking to the bus stop. The man got out of a small black 4-door vehicle, pointed a gun at them and demanded their property. One of the victims handed over her property. After the second victim refused to comply, the man got back into the vehicle and left.
A similar crime took place in Haltom City involving three suspects, one of which matched the description of the man from the Watagua robbery. Haltom City police located the man suspected in both incidents and he was arrested.
The two other suspects still have not been located.
