A 59-year-old man was found dead inside his south Dallas apartment early Monday.
Witnesses told police Bennie Ramsey was playing dominoes when someone entered the apartment on the 2200 block of Locust Avenue at about 12:30 a.m. and shot him.
Ramsey was declared dead at the scene.
Detectives with the Dallas Police Department are interviewing witnesses.
Investigators have not revealed any possible suspects or motive in the shooting.
