An argument with two men ended with one pulling a gun and shooting the other in the leg late Saturday night, police said.
Police got the call at about 11 p.m. Saturday about a shooting on the 4500 block of Maple Avenue.
Officers arrived to find a 28-year-old man shot in the leg, who became argumentative and uncooperative with police and paramedics, a police spokesman said in a statement.
According to the statement, witnesses told police, who also refused to cooperate, the man was involved in an argument with a group of people. The man began to fight with another person, who got out a gun and shot him in the leg, police said.
The gunman got away in a black SUV, and the gunshot victim was taken to Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas.
