A man was transported to a hospital with severe burns after a fire destroyed an Arlington home late Tuesday night, authorities said.
Emergency crews were called at 11:46 p.m. to a home in the 2600 block of Casa Blanca Court.
Firefighters arrived to find fire burning from the garage and throughout the home.
Preliminary information from officers at the scene indicated the burn victim had run into the front yard and across the street to a neighbor's yard. He was transported to a hospital in critical condition with third degree burns, officials said.
