A man has been rushed to a hospital after being pulled from Joe Pool Lake at Lynn Creek, officials said.[[382170621,C]]
A 29-year-old man was approximately 100 feet from shore when he went under the water at about 6 p.m. Tuesday, according to Grand Prairie Fire officials.
He was under water for nearly an hour before he was recovered and taken to Methodist Medical Center in Mansfield.
He was not wearing a life jacket, fire officials said.
He is not expected to survive.
