A Fort Worth man is dead after drowning in his own swimming pool.
The man was pulled from a pool in the 5400 block of Glen Canyon Road at about 3 p.m. Tuesday, according to MedStar officials.
Medics performed CPR on the man, then transported him to John Peter Smith Hospital, where he later died.
The Tarrant County Medical Examiner's Office identified the man as 53-year-old John Hittle and listed his cause of death as accidental drowning.
