Man Pleads Guilty To Robbing Banks, Credit Union

A Texas man has pleaded guilty in federal court in Oklahoma City to robbing three banks and a credit union in Oklahoma and Texas.

U.S. Attorney John Richter says 29-year-old Ryan Christopher Hitchins admitted committing the robberies from June 24 through July 7, 2008.

Richter says a bank in Warr Acres and two in Dallas and a credit union in Plano, Texas, were robbed.

The prosecutor says Hitchins faces up to 80 years in prison and a fine of $1 million when he's sentenced in about 90 days.
