Fort Worth police say a reported fatal hit-and-run Tuesday morning was not a hit-and-run after all.
The crash was reported in the 5500 block of East Lancaster Avenue at about 2 a.m. where a man jumped on a car and was killed when the driver drove away.
The driver stopped a short distance later and called police.
