Police said a man sustained minor injuries after driving a pickup truck into the Trinity River in Fort Worth Friday morning.
Fort Worth police said the man apparently struck a utility pole and drove into the water in the 3600 block of White Settlement Road at about 7:30 a.m.
Firefighters said a dive team responded to help free the man trapped in the truck. The man was transported to a hospital with minor injuries.
Police said officers are trying to capture a dog that was in the truck at the time of the crash.
Divers are still searching for the truck, which was submerged in the water.
