A man is hospitalized with non life-threatening injuries after being hit by a car while running from gunfire in Dallas Sunday night.
Police said a party at a residence on the 3300 block of Munger Avenue was interrupted at about 9:30 p.m. when two people at the party started shooting at each other.
The man was running away from the party when he was hit by a passing vehicle.
Witnesses said the driver got out of the car but did not see the victim. When the gunfire started again, she got back into her vehicle and left.
The man, who is expected to survive, was transported to Baylor Medical Center in Dallas for treatment.
No other injuries were reported and police have not said what led to the gunfire or announced any arrests.
