Police have arrested a man suspected of fatally shooting a 25-year-old outside a Dallas tire shop.
Anthony Torres was being held Friday on a first-degree murder charge with a $500,000 bond.
Police say Torres shot at customers as they stood in front of the shop. Enrique Garcia-Mendoza was killed, and one other person was shot in the chest and listed in critical condition. Several other people had minor injuries.
Torres, who had been shot several times, was later found by police at a nearby hospital. According to an arrest warrant, Torres claims he got involved in a gun fight after an altercation with another person who pulled out a gun first.
