A man was fatally shot while sitting in a vehicle at a Dallas intersection Wednesday night, police say.
Dallas police said officers responded to a shooting call at the intersection of East Wheatland Road and the Interstate 35E service road at about 6:49 p.m. and found a man with multiple gunshot wounds sitting in a gray Dodge Charger.
The man was pronounced deceased at the scene by Dallas Fire-Rescue.
Witnesses told police they saw a black four door vehicle — possibly a Mercedes Benz — pull up next to the victim's car.
Someone in the black vehicle fired multiple shots into the victim's vehicle and drove away.
The victim has not been identified and no further details have been released.
