A man is in critical condition after a house he was working under fell on top of him in San Antonio.
The San Antonio Express-News reports a 39-year-old man was injured Wednesday when the structure fell on him.
According to San Antonio Fire Department spokesman Christian Bove, five people were working on leveling the house when one of the jacks holding the structure up gave way, and the house landed on the man.
Bove said the man's co-workers were able to get a second jack to reduce some of the pressure. Firefighters and technical rescue personnel extracted the man after cutting through the floor from inside the home.
No one else was injured.
