Dallas police say an Arkansas man who was stopped while driving a truck has been charged with murder after a body was found in the cab.
Lew Sterrett Justice Center records show 49-year-old Roderick Jordan of Mineral Springs, Ark., was being held Tuesday on $500,000 bond.
Online jail records did not list an attorney for Jordan, who was booked Monday afternoon.
Dallas police early Monday made a traffic stop along Interstate 20 after noticing a truck's wheels were smoking.
An affidavit says Jordan told an officer that he was alone, but he allowed police to search the cab. An officer discovered the body of a man who appeared to have been stabbed.
Police are trying to identify the victim. Authorities are investigating whether the rig was stolen.
