Main Event Host Job Fair for Former Toys “R” Us Employees

Main Event Entertainment is looking to hire and is specifically reaching out to former Toys "R" Us employees who may be looking for a new job.

Main Event said the former Toys "R" Us employees could be perfect for their team.

“They are so attractive to us because they create the same memories that we do,” Main Event Fort Worth North general manager DeWayne Washington said. “[We make] lasting memories for everyone - from the young to the old. We are creating memories together.”

The job search is likely stressful for many. Main Event is offering a “Play and Apply” event offering an opportunity for interviewees to enjoy the facilities after their interviews.

“It gives them an avenue, a thought process [to] go ‘wow this really is a great time and I am having a great time doing this and I would like to do this over and over again,’” Washington said. “When you go into most interview processes it’s about the interview and not so much about the fun.”

The "play and apply" hiring event starts on Monday, May 14 and runs through Friday, May 18.

On the Main Event Entertainment website, the company offers the line "You've been making birthdays, holidays and every day special for years - why should you stop now?"

The hiring event runs from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m.
