Multiple cars were involved in a deadly crash on Interstate 35W in Burleson Sunday evening, police say.
Two people died in the crash, one person was airlifted to a hospital and five were taken via ground ambulance, according to Burleson police.
The crash happened near I-35W and Bethesda Road, Burleson police wrote in a tweet.
Immediately after the crash, some lanes on the northbound side of I-35W were closed, but they reopened by 7:30 p.m., police said.
Air ambulances were called to transport those injured in the crash, police said.
