The former mayor of Detroit is moving to a bigger home here in North Texas, raising new concerns about the money he still owes his former city.
The Detroit News says former Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick is moving into a house in Grand Prairie.
The five bedroom, four bathroom home was recently listed for more than $309,000.
After being found guilty of lying in a trial that cost Detroit $8.4 million, Kilpatrick was ordered to pay $1 million in restitution.
He still owes more than $860,000 to his former city, paying $160 a month.
Kilpatrick and his family moved into a million dollar house in Southlake two years ago.
Last year they moved to a different Grand Prairie home worth an estimated $235,000.
