Jury selection began Monday in the trial of a man accused of shooting a woman in the parking lot of Northpark Center.
Mary Boyd of Waxahachie suffered a gunshot wound to the face last May after a man ran up to her car and shot her in an attempted carjacking.
Demond Stuard is one of two men facing aggravated robbery charges.
Anton Wallace is also charged in the crime.
Ms. Boyd needed facial reconstruction surgery after the crime.
