Free agent quarterback Johnny Manziel apologized to his alma mater in a tweet Monday, vowing to "make it right."
The former Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback responded to a tweet by Aggies message board TexAgs featuring a video of Manziel running for a 49-yard touchdown against UTEP.
The 23-year-old Manziel also published a post to Instagram stating that he's not done with football.
The Cleveland Browns cut Manziel two years into his rookie contract after trading into the first round to select him with the 22nd pick of the 2014 NFL Draft.
Manziel remains unsigned and is suspended for the first four games of the 2016 NFL season due to violation of the league's substance abuse policy.
