Two people are dead after a boating accident in Kaufman County, officials say.[[425590794,R]]
Emergency crews were called after 7 p.m. Wednesday to the 18,000 block of County Road 243 between Terrell and Rockwall.
Investigators say two men were on the watercraft at an old rock quarry that was filled with water.
The Kaufman County Sheriff's Office says they have recovered the bodies of two men.
The dive team from the Kemp Fire Department was called in late Wednesday night to help search for one of the men.
So far, investigators have not released the identities of the two men.
