A Dallas officer left severely injured after being shot during a narcotics raid two years ago will star in an episode of ABC-TV's Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, the Dallas Morning News reported.
Lt. Carlton Marshall, a father of three, was shot in the neck as he led a SWAT team in Oak Cliff. Marshall's spinal cord was damaged and he is now partially confined to a wheelchair.
Within seven days, the reality TV show plans to transform Marshall's rundown Lancaster home into a new one that is more accessible. Texas builder, Cheldan Homes, and other volunteers will assist in the effort.
In the meantime, Marshall's family is set to enjoy an expenses paid vacation to Disneyland.
