Officer Urbano Rodriguez is in critical, but stable, condition at Medical City Denton after he was shot during a traffic stop early Tuesday morning. Antwon Pinkston and Michele Stacey are in the Denton County Jail in connection with the shooting, according to Denton County Sheriff's Office.

A powerful lightning bolt hit a Fort Worth parking lot Wednesday morning, opening a 15-foot hole in the concrete, authorities say.
