Hurst police say they have found two children — 9-year-old Nathaniel Chairez and 5-year-old Genesis Madrigal — who were previously reported missing Wednesday.
The children did not return home after leaving Hurst Hills Elementary at 3 p.m., police said.
Police used search K-9 teams and an aerial drone to assist in locating the children.
At about 9 p.m. the police department tweeted that the pair had been located are were safely back home.
Additional details were not immediately available.
