Fort Worth Police are waiting to hear results from the Tarrant County Medical Examiner after human remains were found Tuesday.
A human skull was discovered along Precinct Line Road by a surveying crew, according to police.
It was turned over to the Tarrant County Medical Examiner to determine an identity and the cause and manner of death.
No other bones were found, police said.
The investigation is ongoing.
