San Antonio-area authorities say they have discovered the human remains of an unidentified body.
The Bexar County Sheriff's Office says in a news release that the bones were found around noon on Sunday near the San Antonio-area neighborhood of Alamo Ranch.
Investigators say a gun was found near where the remains were discovered.
Sheriff's office spokesman James Keith says it's too soon to determine if foul play was a factor in the case.
The Bexar County Medical Examiner's Office was expected to conduct an autopsy.
