How to Dress for a Job Interview in 2018

In today's more casual and creative business world, the traditional suit and tie or high-heels and skirt may no longer be the recommended interview attire, according to CNBC contributor Suzy Welch. 

Workplaces are less strict about dress codes but it's still up to you to decide what's appropriate for your industry. 

Follow these four general rules to dress for success:

1) Do your homework on the typical attire at the company you'll be walking into

2) Don't worry about being overdressed

3) Wear something that makes you feel confident

4) Avoid wearing anything that would be distracting
