Houston Pair Allegedly Stole 63 Pairs of Jeans, 56 Shirts

Police say two people from Houston have been charged with stealing 63 pairs of jeans and 56 shirts from a Sears in College Station.

Brazos County jail records show Guillermo Urbina and Iris Valle were being held Friday on theft charges. Urbina is also charged with giving police a false name and detained without bond on an immigration hold.

More than $5,000 worth of clothing was stolen Aug. 11. A manager noticed a large volume of clothing missing and checked security video, which showed two people filling a cart, rolling it out and placing the clothes in a car.

Urbina and Valle were arrested Wednesday at the same store when a security employee recognized them.

Valle's bond is $5,000. Online records don't list attorneys to speak for the pair.
