Firefighters were called to a fire at a vacant house along the 3000 block of Walnut Hill Lane Monday morning.

Dallas Fire-Rescue said firefighters were notified of the fire at about 11 a.m. and arrived to find the one-story home with flames shooting through the roof.

Firefighters put out the fire in about an hour, but not before the roof partially collapsed.

While the specific cause of the fire is not known, investigators were able to determine the fire started in a living room near the back half of the building.

No injuries were reported.

While firefighters fought the fire, Walnut Hill between Webb Chapel and Dale Crest Drive was closed to traffic. The roadway has since been reopened.
