Gunshot Victim Found Driving to Hospital: Dallas Police

Police said they found a man who had been shot multiple times apparently trying to drive to a hospital early Thursday morning.

Dallas police said the man was shot in the 6000 block of Abrams Road just before 3 a.m. and then drove away. Blood and shell casings were found at the scene.

First responders caught up with the victim nearly six miles away at the intersection of Harry Hines Boulevard and Medical District Drive. Police said they think he was trying to drive to Parkland Memorial Hospital.

Police said they don't think the victim's injuries are life threatening.

The back window of the man's pickup truck was almost completely shot out.
