Plans for a new water park are underway in North Texas.
The Grapevine City Council on Tuesday approved phase one of a $330 million project with Stand Rock Hospitality.
The company will build a resort and water park next to Grapevine Mills and the Grapevine Aquarium.
The project includes plans for a 1,020-room resort with a huge entertainment space that will include indoor and outdoor water parks, laser tag, rock climbing, a spa and much more.
Future phases would include condo units and an expansion of the water park.
Construction is expected to begin in spring or summer 2017.
