A 34-year-old man is facing capital murder charges after Grand Prairie Police found his mother dead inside her home.
Investigators say Dustin Pearson was in Washington, D.C. when he made statements indicating his involvement in the murder.
Officers from Washington, D.C. then coordinated with Grand Prairie Police who later found 63-year-old Janet Glover dead inside her home in the 1000 block of Coffeyville Trail.

Detectives from Grand Prairie are now in Washington, D.C. interviewing Pearson and planning to bring him back to Texas where he will face capital murder charges.
