Grand Jury in Waco Biker Shooting to Meet Extra 90 Days

A Waco grand jury investigating the deadly shooting outside a Twin Peaks restaurant that left nine people dead will meet for an extra 90 days.

The Waco Tribune-Herald reports the grand jury's term was extended Wednesday by State District Judge Matt Johnson.

It has already indicted 106 of the 177 bikers arrested in the May 17 melee for engaging in organized criminal activity. It did not return any indictments during its meeting Wednesday.

Twenty people were injured, which authorities say arose from an apparent confrontation between motorcycle clubs.

Evidence reviewed by The Associated Press shows four of those killed were struck by the same caliber of rifle fired by Waco police. It wasn't clear whether bikers had similar guns.
