Governor Greg Abbott will deliver the keynote address at the Texas Department of Public Safety commencement ceremony on Friday in Austin.
According to the Texas DPS, the A-2021 Trooper Training Class will be the largest graduating class in the history of the Texas DPS.
The Texas DPS said 145 recruits will graduate on Friday.
The graduating class also has the largest ever number of female DPS recruits, the Texas DPS said.

The event will take place at Great Hills Baptist Church Worship Center.
