Garland police are searching for a vehicle they believe was involved in a hit-and-run crash that left a motorcyclist dead.
On Oct. 22, police responded to a hit-and-run crash at the intersection of Jupiter Road and Miller Park Drive. At the scene, they found 47-year-old Dennis Hall, of Rowlett, lying in the roadway having been knocked off the motorcycle he was driving.
Hall later died at an area hospital.
Witnesses said Hall was traveling on Miller Park when he entered the intersection at Jupiter Road. Another driver, who is believed to have run a red light, also entered the intersection and struck the motorcycle before driving away from the scene of the crash.
Witness statements and debris left at the scene helped police identify a 1998 to 2003 model of Lincoln Town Car with white or silver pearl paint and tinted windows. Police believe the vehicle has damage to the front end.
Photos released by the police show damaged to Hall's motorcycle as well as the suspected vehicle.
