Fugitive Sex Offender Arrested After Sightings in Dallas

A New Hampshire registered sex offender wanted on an outstanding arrest warrant alleging indecent exposure to a minor has been arrested in a Salvation Army soup line in Arkansas.

The U.S. Marshals Service says the 53-year-old Laconia resident was captured Wednesday evening in Hot Springs, Arkansas, without incident.

The sex offender is believed to have fled the Laconia area in September. The Marshals Service says he had been spotted at truck stops and homeless shelters in the Dallas area.

The man is being held in Arkansas as a fugitive from justice and will be extradited to New Hampshire.
