A Frisco firefighter was injured after falling from a ladder while working at a house fire Monday evening.
The fire was reported at about 5:50 p.m. in the 1300 block of Bowie Lane, where the first crews to arrive reported seeing flames coming from the attic of the two-story house.
Everyone was able to get out of the house safely, and the fire was reported out by about 8:25 p.m.
The firefighter who was injured fell approximately eight feet, injuring his shoulder, according to the fire department. He was transported by ambulance to Plano Presbyterian Hospital in stable condition.
The cause of the fire and an estimate on the extent of the damage have not been released.
