Free Tax Assistance at Dallas Public Library

Eighteen Dallas Libraries Will Offer Free Tax Assistance Until April

Starting next month, you can check out more than just books at the Dallas Public Library.

The Dallas Public Library will be offering free tax assistance to those with low-to moderate income, the disabled and elderly, and people who speak limited English.

People who need help with their taxes can receive assistance at 18 Dallas libraries. People just need to bring their W-2’s, last year’s tax return, social security cards for all dependents, and a photo I.D.

The Dallas Public Library is partnering with AARP Tax Aide and the IRS’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program (VITA) to make these services available.

Free tax services will start next week, Feb. 2 and continue until April 15.
