Four People Injured in Crash Involving Dallas Fire Truck

Authorities said four people were injured when a fire truck collided with a car in Dallas Thursday morning.

Dallas police said a Dallas Fire-Rescue truck was returning to the fire station when it collided with a sedan in the 7000 block of Great Trinity Forest Way near Jim Miller Road at 1:40 a.m.

Police said an 18-year-old woman driving the sedan changed lanes and turned in the past of the fire truck, which caused the fire truck to crash into the back of the sedan.

The driver and three passengers in the sedan were transported to Baylor University Medical Center with minor injuries, according to police.

Dallas Fire-Rescue officials said no firefighters were injured in the crash.

Police said no charges are pending.
