Fort Worth police say an announcement is expected Monday on what, if any, disciplinary action the officer seen in a video that went viral last month will receive.
The internal investigation into the officer's encounter — in which Jacqueline Craig and her two daughters were arrested after calling police report that a neighbor allegedly choked Craig's 7-year-old son — has wrapped up.
Police said they would provide an update during a news conference scheduled at 1 p.m.
The arrest was shared on Facebook Live and viewed more than a million times in the days afterward.
The police department said the Tarrant County District Attorney's Office will also review the incident and submit the evidence to a grand jury to consider if anyone involved should face criminal charges.
