Police are searching for a masked gunman involved in a shooting near the Chisholm Trail Parkway in southwest Fort Worth early Wednesday.[[330094111,R]]
Officers were called to the Ridgecrest Apartments on the 6000 block of Ridgecrest Lane at 3:25 a.m.
A man living in one of the apartments was asked by an acquaintance to step outside his front door, according to Lieutenant K.D. Rowell, Fort Worth police spokesman.
According to Rowell, the man, who was not immediately identified, was confronted by a masked gunman. The resident was then shot in his forearm, Rowell said.
He was rushed to a nearby hospital in someone's car, police said. His condition was not released.
