Fort Worth police say a woman was found with fatal stab wounds inside a vehicle that crashed Friday on the city's northwest side.
Homicide detectives were called at about 11 a.m. to Azle Avenue near Santos Drive, where the black 2005 Chevrolet Avalanche had crashed into a ditch.
The call initially came in as a shooting, but police determined that the person inside the truck had actually been stabbed in the upper torso.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
Police had no information on a suspect or whether the victim was the driver or passenger.
