Former Dallas mayor Tom Leppert will join dozens of faith leaders in Dallas to take on challenges like homelessness, poverty and human trafficking.
The second annual Movement Day Greater Dallas will take place on January 22, 2015 at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center.
Speakers will talk with participants. Then they'll dispatch to different parts of Dallas, where churches and agencies will address topics ranging from education to hunger to immigrant care.

One of the focuses will be South Dallas where MDGD said 97 percent of the children are living in single parent homes. Work during the MDGD could create a program for mentoring thousands of children.
