Dallas police officers were called to the 9900 block of Adleta Boulevard just after midnight on July 4 to investigate a fatal stabbing.
When officers arrived at the scene, they determined that the victim, 21-year-old Andrew Johnson, was stabbed after a physical altercation with 35-year-old Hugh Turner, according to a police report. Police added that the stabbing took place in a parking lot on the 9200 block of Skillman Street.
Johnson was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead from his injuries, said police.
Turner is being charged with murder and his bond has been set at $500,000.
The cause of the altercation between the two men has not been released.
