Authorities are investigating a deadly crash following a multi-vehicle pileup in Denton County Wednesday night.
The original crash involved at least six vehicles along U.S. Highway 380 near Providence Village at about 7:30 p.m.[[295101231,L]]
Immediately after that six-car pileup, a seventh vehicle careened into the other six cars already wrecked, and one person was killed, officials said.

The cause of the original crash is unknown, but Little Elm police said the fatality crash is believed to be weather-related.
